Our Services

At The Tooth Cottage, we're a small, boutique practice — we see just two families at a time, so every visit gets our full attention.

Dental Care tailored to your child.

Every child's mouth is different, so we start by understanding their individual cavity risk — then build a plan around it. That means diet and hygiene counseling where it helps most, and ultra-low-dose digital X-rays, taken about 6 months after the back molars start touching to help establish risk. From there, we tailor how often X-rays are needed to your child specifically.

  • Comprehensive exams & cleanings

  • Ultra-low-dose digital X-rays and CBCT (only when necessary)

  • Fillings & routine restorative care

  • Sealants

  • Diet & hygiene counseling

  • We don't offer sedation dentistry; instead, we focus on gentle, conservative care and taking the time needed to help kids feel safe and comfortable.

Materials
What actually goes into your child's care.

We know a lot of families are looking for more conservative, minimally invasive options — and we get it. We're thoughtful about the materials we use, including:

  • nHA (hydroxyapatite) varnish — a fluoride-free alternative

  • Half-dose fluoride varnish

  • SDF (Silver Diamine Fluoride)

  • Curodont

  • Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA)

  • Activa bioactive composites

  • Stainless steel and porcelain crowns, used when appropriate

  • Nitrous Oxide

Airway, Growth & Development

Watching how your child's mouth and jaw are developing.

As your child grows, we keep an eye on developmental changes that can affect their airway — things like mouth breathing, snoring, restless sleep, bed wetting and more. We use a parent questionnaire and growth pictures to help identify early signs, and when appropriate, we recommend the HealthyStart Habit Corrector, a nighttime appliance that supports nasal breathing and healthy jaw development. We also offer Invisalign for kids & teens, often paired with an expander for proper arch development.
